Hae-Soon wanted to entertain in style but her basement came up lacking. Her goal was to transform her dull space into an entertaining haven, with a fun place to gather, storage for her wine collection, and a stylish bath to complement the rest of the space.
She needed someone with a design style bold enough to match her own and the knowledge to execute the renovations to a T. So Hae-Soon called Merrick.
The anchor of the new design has to be this upscale bar. Multicolored Matchstick Glass mosaics vertically face the bar in smoky tones of grey. Special lighting adds drama. The wine collection lives in a climate-controlled wine cellar, constructed with stained concrete flooring and a custom glass door.
In keeping with the upscale flavor, the new bath is a contemporary luxury. The floating vanity sits on a wall of porcelain tiles. The mirror and metallic walls reflect the light of mini pendants. A handheld shower is mounted on a slide bar, while a waterfall faucet flows into the vessel sink.
Now there’s no need for Hae-Soon to go out when her entertaining space is this luxurious and exciting.
