Home Remodeling Kensington, MD
Proudly serving Kensington with custom home remodeling.
Kensington is home to our offices, just off Connecticut on Concord Ave, and we are especially fond of this great area. Not only is Kensington a great place to live if you want easy access to downtown D.C. (a short 40-minute drive away), but it also has a strong neighborhood feel. With a population of about 20,000, Kensington was rated the #2 best place to live in Maryland in 2022 by Niche.com. Although, we personally think it should have been number one.
The town of Kensington was planned as a Victorian community in the late 19th century, and many of those gorgeous homes still survive today around Warner Circle. There are also lots of newer homes, including “teardowns,” in several architectural styles, providing Kensington with lots of great character. Our relaxed feel and strong sense of community can be felt in the plethora of annual fairs and festivals we hold, such as the bike parade on the Fourth of July or all of our Halloween hijinks.
Kensington may technically be just outside of the beltway, but we don’t feel like we’re outside of anything. Having access to the MARC helps. There are lots of activities here in
Kensington, such as shopping downtown on Antique Row or dining at one of the quaint restaurants there. We also have 10 parks here in Kensington, and the oldest public library in the D.C. area, Noyes Library, which we love taking our kids to. Kensington is a great place to be if you are looking for a down-to-earth, small town, family friendly environment.
